- Becoming a vet or stablehand at a clinicRule
Nobody has to hire you to work as a vet: you apply at the vet clinic yourself and are hired at once, with no approval step. From level 5 the clinic is the Clinic building in your ranch village (on a phone it is also under Town on the Jobs page). Applying costs the clinic's apply fee, shown on the clinic page.
As a vet you take the clinic's queued requests for shots, check-ups, breeding check-ups and gelding, and can vet market horses for half pay; the game pays coins for each horse, a little more the more horses you have served, plus xp. You can hold only one of the vet and stablehand jobs at a time unless you have the Tome of labor.
To quit, press Resign on the clinic page; the apply fee is not returned. The stablehand job is joined the same way, on the Stable hand page.
